RONALD DOLPHIN IS MOAB FIREFIGHTER OF THE YEAR

Ronnie is the son of Ronald and Melonie Dolphin of Moab. He attended school in Moab and graduated from Grand County High School. Dolphin enjoys most outdoor activities such as shooting, snowmobiling and riding dirt bikes. He also enjoys working as a volunteer with youth sports of the Moab community in his spare time. Dolphin is employed by Moab Valley Fire Department as a seasonal wildland firefighter. “After my first meeting I was hooked!! One day I was invited to come to one of the departments training meetings and see what our local fire department was about. I knew then that I had to be part of it,” Dolphin wrote in his member biography. Dolphin joined the Department in 2018 and has been very active in training, fire prevention education for over 240 children attending pre-school through 1st grade and the departments Wildland Fire program.
